General View of Casablanca
Weather:Summer
The weather in Casablanca is not unbearably hot in summer (mid 30s maximum in general), but it can feel very humid and sticky. A great many places are not air-conditioned.
Short shorts are not very suitable for town wear, but sleeveless tops are fine. Beaches are mixed and you see all sorts of swim wear from one piece suits to skimpy bikinis.
Winter
The sun is warm and the air is very cool. Temperature ranges from 40 degrees F to high 50's - 60s. Rain is possible. So pack a warm jacket, an umbrella and raincoat, and don't forget some comfy socks to keep your feet always warm. Buildings in Morocco are not insulated, so the humidity of the Atlantic Ocean can make the air temperature feel cooler.

If you like youth-hostelling, the Casablanca Youth Hostel is a must. It is in a beautiful old building with lovely tiling, just inside the walls of the Old Medina - only 5 minutes away from Rick's Café. Accommodation ranges from dormitories to family rooms with en-suite facilities. It is all spotlessly clean. There are computers with an internet connection. Don't forget to bring:Comfortable walking shoes. A day or evening stroll on the Corniche (next to the Atlantic Ocean) can be a wonderfully relaxing way to see the beach area, stop in at one of the beach cafes and have a delicious cappuccino as you watch the waves roll in or the sun set on the distant horizon.
Golf clubs Golfing is a year-around event here in Casablanca, so if this is your game, bring your clubs for a round of golf in one of the nearby courses. Cost is around $40 - $45 per round of golf; caddie fee is $11 for 18 holes.
